Folded by hand and shaped by hammer and flame, this necklace rests lightly at the collarbone. The copper is fold-formed, then enameled using a raku firing process - each surface marked by soft transitions of color and smoke.
The outer surface carries the pale green and ash tones of the firing. Inside, pink reveals itself in contrast, a subtle warmth, visible in movement.
The forms recall shell structures, or something gathered from the tide. Hollow, open, shifting. Suspended on an oxidized sterling silver cable.
